BIRTHDAY GRIEF

This day, you once,
were brand and free,
and looking upon,
the world unbiased.
your mind aloud
of painless grief
you screamed...
though shining still.

Outbuzzed by bees.
now... you keep to a silence,
imprison your dreams
behind tear-glazed eyes.
Hid' safely...
away from their
preconceived minds...
your beauty is bleeding.
